Email Problems

Hi I sent an email, an application form infact a week ago. I have had no reply from the application yet. Should I assume that the job I applied for rejected me or is the process slow/human error maybe occured?

If you have any worries about the what i would do is ring the place you sent the email and speak to whoever was dealing with your application. This will not do any harm but it will show them you are keen to have the placement.

Ok Mr.hatchet man I have som exclusive news for you. Today I read ure post and was under the impression that you were in some advive about a job like i dunno what would be in your skill range? Mc donalds, pizza hut, paper round or one of those guys in town who sells joke books for a quid. This was not the case, you were refering to an application to sb. Unfortunatly you have failed an dhave been notifyied about this decision. I would also like to advise you not to spam psn users when you lose with abuse as you did me. For the record playing for a computer clan is not a job.

Messages were in respondance to abusive comments directed towards me after mvping and I would also like to remind you that when I came across yourself & some SB members my team won in a domination in Karachi and you called me a camper despite coming top and having the most captures.

I was under the impression MajorCensus was leader, sorry I assume you have multiple leaders since chris left then?

Nevertheless good luck then. I only wanted to join for a short time anyway as ther are alot of things I don't agree with and don't want to get into an argument about. I know that I recruited alot of good players, alot better skill wise/activeness and also loyality than any other "recruitment" members. I also continually expressed my opinions about too many people being carried by the rest of the clan and doing nothing.

I left the recruitment team after recruiting alot of very good players for the simple reason that some people who were incapable of recruiting or made no effort at all where deciding who does and doesn't get in the clan despite not even having trialists added on their psn. The process is a joke as it is too lengthly and for the majority of players SB offers alot less and is not worth the effort as there are alot of better clans to join which offer alot more.

Neall may try and claim he organised these but I know for fact that I organised the bulk of them and if you look at match reports and threads about upcoming matches across the members area you will notice that the majority of them where created by myself.

The reason I was kicked/left was for applying for BloodPack. I did this because it got to a stage were everything I did 2 people wanted to criticise me and anything good was overlooked as people got used to me doing the wars etc.. so it was just the bad things which stood out. In my application I even stated that I wasn't positive if I wanted to join and wanted it to be kept confidential although MajorArseLick obviously seen this applying for one of his many clans. It had gotten too far for me when I was organising matches on battlefield and having members not show up. Or where I basically organised us to join with AI for that game only to help us both but people objcting even though we didnt have enough active players. If we had of joined with AI we would of had a 3rd place in ladder and tournament.

SB MAY Review

Before I post this, most of it will probably be irrelevent to general CG members although I seen hobson make a cod weekly review and thought it was a good read. Recruitment

May saw the begening of a new chapter for 7th Barrier. With some new policys and a new recruitment team on board, 7th Barrier grasped the gaming world recruiting players throughout all parts of the ps3 world on all 3 major battlefields. The recruitment has been a success with at least 10 members declaring interest and 3 new members already being accepted for full membership.
I would like to be the first to congragulate AlexGoodger, KillerTeaBag and xsimmons- on their new found membership within 7th Barrier and I hope they have a long stay. Two imparticular have made themselves well known, being unmissable on the forums with their continuous spam and of course their skills throughout all 3 games which 7th Barrier compete on; Killzone 2, Socom, Call Of Duty 4. Both players have been very pro active throughout their stay and will be stealing the jobs of the rest of 7th Barrier if they keep doing our work for us. As for KillerTeaBag we heard about him for a while from jamesil but because cod4>socom I have not seen him much. Although we do appreciate his skills in making instruments from tampons. Keep up the good work matey.
We have also seen many trialists which have not yet completed their trials such as; jamieuk87, finlay, stripeyshirt (redemptionz), majordan87 and many more which I cannot be bothered to list. I know that a couple of these players are infact only an arms length away from gaining their full membership and with the first 3 already partcipating in a few call of duty wars and stealing my mvps, I am sure with increased forum activity for some of them then they will be accepting in no time (this does not refer to all as some of you have been active, that is just a general comment).
Lastly I would like to say that even though these are the trialists we have seen apply through our forums, I am keeping an eye out and I have forwarded a few other members aswell as talk to some on msn from other clans. It will take time but hopefully within a few months, a more active SB may attract some 'top players' to the clan.

Return Of The Messiah

May has also seen the return of our leader chris. For some of us such as myself it was the first time I had met him and I took great gratitude of putting him in place on call of duty lol. Although I do know that for myself and some others that this has been a MASSIVE boost for the clan, and with talk of a new website on the way this has been the news we have all been waiting for.
Hopefully this will be chris returned to 7th Barrier full time and we will see him showing his leadership skills of and making some big decesions to pull 7th Barrier forward. I would like to wish him the best on his return to gaming from all us at 7th Barrier, no pressure chris but we expect big things from you now!! (only joking)

Possible Sponsor?

This has been on the agenda the last few days and it is true 7th Barrier or now being pro active and looking a sponsor. Although it may be unsuccesful and not much work has been done yet, I would like to confirm that our leaders are looking into the idea and the more suggestions of possible sponsors the better.
Even if we don't have success in getting a sponsor, the idea of getting free samples of chewing gum from fucapo certainly suits me!!

Back In Action

May has also been a massive month for 7th Barrier clan war wise, this month (especially the last week) saw us return to the call of duty 4 ladder. Although we are on a record of 1-5, it must be noted that 4 of the clans we played are actually in the top 10 on the ladder. Our last 2 wars saw us be unsportingly beaten in a game we were winning and us also receiving a win ourselves respectibly.
Alot of our members such as myself also finnish exams in the coming week so hopefully this factor might see an increase in clan wars again and get ourselves noticed once again. I for one think we have given ourselves a great name so far and we have honestly been recognised as the fair play non ducking clan of cg. Clans are recognising that we are a model clan and set the target for other clans. Once we get our tactics together, I fully think we will be able to make at least the top 20 in this ladder.

In Game Player of the Month

I would like to congragulate chronoshift on being the first to receive the ingame player of the month.
Chronoshift has participated in all our wars to date and has been well above the rest of us with many more mvps. I think he is setting the target for the rest of our members and hopefully he will be able to give us a few tips on how to "get on his level." Anyway I hope he keeps it up and can help the rest of us learn from him.
I would also like to note that his continued activity across socom and call of duty has also contributed to him receiving this award.

Behind The Scenes Player of the Month

I feel that one player has come back to 7th Barrier this month with alot more activity and has not been acknowledged for this. I feel proud to announce that this award has gone to knoxy.
Knoxy was not very active and I made this known on the forums when I first joined. But all of a sudden he has been doing many jobs behind the scenes aswell as being active every single day in game.
I don't think anybody has really acknowledged his work but I would like to thank knoxy for our new pretty "home page"(would you call it that?) on the forums and also for the new registration forms which make life so much easier for us. Its simple thigns like this that may go unnoticed but require alot of work and are pushing us that extra bit forward.

Endeverour Award (spelt right?)

We all know who deserves this award. His posts are like a book, those influential praises he gives us all, his continued activity even if he is a lone ranger, still topping the post counts, acknowledging every single one of us and keeping the clan together over a rough few months. MajorCensus congragulations on being the first winner of the SB endeverour award. Your work this month and over the past while has kept 7th Barrier were it is and you have done this without lowering any of our standards. I hope youre pleased with your reward and set the target for the rest of us next month.

Battlefield 1943

This game is a downloadable game and may have slipt the limelight as there has not been high expectations for it. After readign a preview on it, I think it could possibly be a very good game to whore over the summer. I know 7th Barrier were highly succesful on Battlefield 2 and that most of us are still big BF fans.
I whored BF2 on pc and after reading a preview and some other gamers comments, it sounds like it could indeed be a good fun game to get us recognised even more. I would therefore like to urge all members to keep an eye out on this game because like killzone 2, we owe it to 7th Barrier to compete on the Battlefield series.

Conclusion

May 09 has been a historic month for 7th Barrier. A month which has brought us all together, new members to the guild and old members home. This month in my eyes will be seen as the revolution, the month were we restarted at got back to were we should be.
We have seen us recruit players on all 3 games, aswell as play over a handfull of games. Alot of players have been contacting me and wanting to play 7th Barrier as we are recognised as a top clan and a clan that other clans wish to compete against. Over the next month, hopefully the tatics squad will get to work and now see us begin to take our games serious and get to the top of each one.
I would like to acknowledge jamesil, neall, simmons, sauron, dhalil, hardest, inothep, angmaer, alex and of course killer for their continued activity and holding SB together. Onwards and Upwards guys
I would also like to take the chance to thank the developers of all our main 3 games; call of duty 4, killzone 2 and socom for their continued work to keep these titles here for us to play. The players I recruited which played on cod4 and were on trial would destroy this new team. You are pathetic and wouldn't be near the top 6 back in June. Although despite the game being so close 2 of these trialists apparently weren't worthy of a trial.

The clan is filled with hypocrits. People who will act your best friend when you join the clan but do fuck all to get you in the clan as they cant be arsed. I did alot more than most but the same twisted people are the ones that cause problems, the people that want to twist things because they aren't centre of attention and want to take the spotlight and fuck things up. Rus rejoined in October, I started on his case in May pm'ing him. I then began to deal with his application in July although he did not join untill october and I am sure some people in recruitment will claim they got him back when it was actually myself. Since I left very few players appear to have joined, everybody is just being carried along and there is no initative. Once again when people leave SB will get into a dark position again and someone else will come along and help make changes and when things are back up then members will make digs to knock them down once the clan reaches a healthy position.


I can look at the recruitment team now and see straight away why I wouldn't be allowed to join because of three peoples personal vendetatas. At least I know the important leaders want me, the one which does the recruitment and makes changes and has kept the clan afloat.
