Well, anyone see it? Everyone on the Xbox forums celebrating, many mourn on the Playstation forums, as Microsoft had a line-up of celebrities such as, Spielberg, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, by having quite an unexpected list of things coming soon.

Things started off with CoD:MW2, which Xbox got to show and announce 2 maps exclusive (timed, maybe?) maps to Xbox 360. Not a good start for Sony

They didn't focus on games that much, but mainly "interaction", with a thing called Natal, which in my opinion isn't anything "amazing" just better version of Eyepet. Games such as Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Epic's new arcade shooter announced.Crackdown 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 was also shown. Bungie announced Halo OSDT, which is just before Halo 3 where you play different characters at different periods such as "The Rookie" and "Dutch". It will come out this October I think... They also announce next year, Halo Reach, with a teaser trailer before telling viewers, that if you but Halo ODST, you receive and online Multiplayer beta for the game.

One shock for me, MGR (Metal Gear Rising) was announced onto Xbox 360! Kojima coming onto the stage with the news that it isn't about Snake but appears to be Raiden. I was saddened to hear yet another exclusive gone to Xbox, yet I foresee that it may not be as good as MGS4, as a DVD can not hold as much as Blu-ray.

They also now have Facebook, Twitter and Last.Fm, all on the console, with all movies in 1080p HD, at the instance of a button, thanks to Netflix.

Once again Natal, was a big announcement, where "you" are the controller, where you can interact with on screen characters, basically the next generation of Eyetoy, which appears very "Nintendo-y"

Hopefully Sony will have news on games such as MAG, GoW3, Uncharted 2 and much more!

Natal looked interesting, sure... but where's the feel of holding something. A lot of people forget about how important it is to have something in your hand or the you interact with physically. hitting into nothing isn't immersion. Left for Dead 2 is on PC also. More Halo arghh no, but fair enough millions enjoy it. Alan Wake and spinter Cell looked good

There you go.. my opinions. It was a good conference but MS shouldn't be given so much credit.

Hey, i'm just trying to be positive (even thought I don't like Microsoft) for once. I agree with you on everything. Every new feature looks good but a lot is pointless and PS3 can do a lot of things and better. Personally I would say Sony can still stun everyone and will probably. By no means was I glorifying Xbox 360 there, as a lot of it won't even work, and even if they "win" E3, that doesn't make them a better console.
That Natal thing has voice recognisation, yet even computers haven't master it. I'd say we won't see it working "properly" for a bit, if we are looking at Microsoft

Well now it was Nintendo's turn and overall, nothing impressive in my opinion. Just a quick sum-up, which I will have made for the more important conference. Sorry if I'm boring all with this

Nintendo's main theme was "Everybody's GAME", emphasising how they wish everyone to game. They began with their mot famous character, they began with Mario. A new4 player Super Mario Bros for Wii, originally on DS as a single player game is coming to Wii where you play as Mario, Luigi, Blue/Yellow Toad It is out worldwide at Holiday 2009.

Wii Fit appeared next, boasting a best selling game in America and Worldwide with 15 million sold over 13 months. Wii Fit Plus is also announced! New exercises included, you make your exxercise sessions fit around you and it tracks calories burned. 15 new balance games and 6 extra yoga session added. It arrives this Fall, software for those who have Wii Balance Board, will also be able to download it.

Xbox 360 have a new Motion Sensor and Nintendo have a new extension to controller. Looks unnoticable, in fact, an extra block, but this is "Wii MotionPlus" which has added precision control. Wiimote is like it was before, but now your movements matter. Wii Sports Resort displays the new indepth precision. It detects the angle it is held at and more sensative. Introduction shows everyone sky-diving in the game. Archery is shown, then some Basketball. Exciting competition between the two presenters, which was my highlight of the show.

Tigers Woods 2010, Grand Slam Wii, Vitura Tennis all have MotionPlus and announced for Wii. More realistic and same "muttering of bad words", described by ol' Reggie and will arrive in a few weeks. Red Steel will only be played with MotionPlus and an interesting fact: more third party games were sold on Wii,than any other console. Second place was DS.

Focusing on RPG, they discussed some exclusives. Square Enix are making an exclusive Final Fantasy game for Wii, called the Crystal Bearers, I believe part of the Crystal Chronicles as well as a exclusive Kingdom Hearts for Wii on 29th September.

Second Mario game announced. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for DS, where Mario and Luigi are reduced to micro size to go inside Bowser's internals, where you get to be Bowser in some parts I think. Find it outin North America and Europe this Fall.

Back from the dead, 6 years ago, Golden Sun is coming back to DS, with Golden Sun DS.

James Patterson, the author of 40 New York Times Best Seller, brings his Woman's Murder Club: Games of Passion story to DS, as a novel/game. Also a new DS game by Ubisoft announced for "gritty" gamers called C.O.P. Doesn't look gritty at all, just gritty graphics

Female gaming for pre-teens and teens called Style Sa... ah who cares about it... It's a dress-up game...

They showed DSi opinions, of how it's doing, which was all positive
DSi sales in the USA for 2 months is past 1 million units and 400,000 DS Lites sold in that time period as well.

FlipNote: Studio this summer for USA, where you create animations was announced. Mario vs DK is another creation game invented where you make the stage. This is the 3rd installment I believe where you try and navigate "Minis" to their goal, which you choose. It's called "Minis March Again" and is out this Monday exclusive to DSi for only download.

WarioWare DIY, another creating game, allows player make their own game, characters and purpose of the game.

More social network news. Photos taken on DSi can now be shown and uploaded onto Facebook.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for DS, I believe

Saturo Iwata takes stage to anounce figures. 295 Million play games in Japan, North America and Europe. 149 Million people are "Potential Gamers", which is their new target consumers.

Wii Vitality Sensor shown which is a component which detects the of heart and other things, such as your nervous system, which allows you to relax with video games

Mario again (4th time now?), with his second 3D game on the Wii, identical to Galaxy, but you can ride Yoshi now and some extra features...

The Conduit going to Wii in 3 weeks. Looks similar to Metriod Prime.
Resident Evil, The Darkside Chronicles, includes characters in a new light.
EA's Dead Space: Extraction also comes exclusive to Wii. Looks like The Conduit.

New game from Nintendo and Team Ninja together, it's a new Metroid Prime, out in 2010. Missed the name, think it's Other M or Project M.

7:09: Still no start… (slow internet doesn’t help)
7:10: It’s started
7:13: “Not beaten by anyone”, said Jack Tretton
7:16: 30% of revenues from Playstation for Sony. MW2, FF13, Ratchet and Clank, Batman, Heavy Rain, Rock Band Beatles announced for PS3!
7:17: PS2 first addressed. Outsold all Next Gen consoles in its 9th year in April! 9 million last year bought it. 100 new titles announced this year.
7:18: 10 millions PS3s sold. Went up 40%. They want 13 million sold in total this year. In S America the revenues tripled
7:19: 24 million registered users in 2008
7:20: 35 exclusives for 2009, infamous one of them
7:21: Evan Wells comes on to show Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

7:27: 256 battle about to be shown. Everyone shown, looks amazing! Big maps shown. CJ is squad leader, who calls in a recon to search for the enemy. Looks very tactical. Team Raven tries to infiltrate the area to plant bomb. Each squad of 8 has different objectives. Basically shown how objectives and spawn work.
7:31: Demo ends. Tretton returns. Debuts this Fall.
7:32: Talk of PSP begins about how it has changed.
7:33: 15 millions bought it last year. That’s a total of 50 millions sold
7:33: Assassin Creed, Final Fantasy and Rock Band announced for PSP
7:34: Hannah Montana bundle being sold for teens

7:38: New application announced called Media Go to access PSN store directly from PC, with better interface. A new application is called Sense Me which will looks through your music and music on how your “moods” are at that occasion. Out this Fall. Toolkits are lowered by 80%, so individuals can put more on PSP
7:39: All this to make it easier to use. All games available on PSN store anD shops

7:43: Translator comes up. GT: PSP is announced, for PSP and PSP:Go. It runs at 60 FPS and is a “full” game. Contains 35 tracks, 60 layouts and 800 cars (didn’t hear amount of cars right I think). Time trials, mission events and more modes included. It is emphasised to be a full game, not shrunken. Special functions allow people to race with up to 4 players. Another is the trading and sharing or cars with other people in their garages.
7:46: Because there is over 800 cars, it is hard to get all the cars, so helping friends makes it easier, and they help you.
7:47: The translator was very nervous… A video is then showing. Sleek graphics are shown, with cars such as an Enzo, Impreza, and many more. Out 1st October !
7:50: 52 millions GT units sold worldwide. Kaz comes back on
7:50: MGS announced!!!
7:51: Hideo Kojima comes on after being at Microsoft yesterday!
7:52: Another translator explains MGS: Peace Walker will have Snake as the protagonist. Setting is 10 years after MGS3, in the 70’s. True sequel of MGS franchise, he says… Big Boss picture is teased… Kojima will be deeply involved writing the script and producing. He emphasises it will not be a spin-off but a main story. A trailer is shown. Kojima says “Please enjoy!” in English. I won’t describe the trailer, as I will let you all see it yourself (I liked it a lot). It’s interesting, and Snake is shown. Same MGS humour is shown involving a parachute. Interesting ending, then it shows the true ending… which is unbelievable funny. Out in 2010.
7:57: Kaz returns. Then leaves after conclusion of PSP, Tretton then returns.
7:58: Resident Evil has sold over 40 million units since 1996. RE will be going to PSP, for the first time, specially for it LBP, Socom, Monster Hunter, Motorstorm, Hannah Monatna, Harry Potter all announced for 2009. Trailer shows big games coming to PSP. Skype, Internet is shown in text?! Jak and Daxter, Madden, Star Wars, Rock Band and other games are shown in the trailer of games.
8:03: PSN is now being discussed. 24 million registered in the whole world, 11 million in USA. 495 million things have been downloaded!
8:04: FF7 coming to PSN TODAY! Many more PS1 games coming
8:05: Home now being discussed. 6.5 million use it.
8:06: For SB members, a SOCOM room will be added to Home. A trailer is shown how far Home has come
8:07: Montage well presented, with a Guitar Hero section added.
8:08: Met with applauses. PS3 content begins with a video. This includes, Uncharted 2, inFamous, Madden, FF13, MAG, Batman: Arkham Asylum, some rally game, GhostBusters, Ninja Gaiden, Godfather II, Buzz, Ice Age 3, Tiger Woods 2010, Singstar, Pool, Singstar: Queen, DC Universe, Fuel, LBP, Bioshock 2, Rachet and Clank, Fight Night Round 4, God OF War 3, and much more!
8:13: Lost Planet 2 announced for 2010.
8:14: Rockstar announced. A new game called Agent will be exclusive to PS3 from Rockstar North. It will be set in 1970 about assassins and darkness.
8:15: Ubisoft show Assassins Creed 2 on PS3 (not Xbox). A demo shows in 1486 in Venice, the Italian Renaissance. Ezio is the new ancestor of Desmond who we also play in 2012, parts of the time. Ezio is a Florentine, nobleman, on a mission as revenge. Although not originally an assassin with help from inventors such as Leonardo Da Vinci, helps to make him gadgets useful for flying around the city.
Ezio is “better” at assassinations than his counterpart, Altair. He has new double handed hidden blades. He is better hand-to-hand with 30 weapons in the new game. Smoke Bombs are part of the diversity and inventory at your disposal. Great applause from the audience.
8:21[/u]: PSP Assassin Creed this Holiday
8:21: Tretton re-appears. Square Enix is discussed. FF13 trailer is shown. Great graphics and video footage. Gameplay is shown. Once again great applause. Coming out in 2010.
8:25: Square Enix have FF14 ANNOUNCED IN 2010 ONLY FOR PS3!!! First footage shown at E3. Eorzea is a game given, perhaps the protagonist? FF XIV is in fact called FFXIV Online. Tretton jokes how it wasn’t leaked…
8:28: Tretton announces how Motion Control is the next big thing.
8:28: Dr Richard Marks and someone else, come to explain more
8:29: A weird “wand” is only the prototype, with a glowing sphere at the end of the “stick” It changes colour if you wish to throw a fireball in games, for example. Very like Nintendo’s MotionPlus and Microsoft’s Natal. In fact it’s better!!! Graphics appears, and they mess up. Weapons appear as graphics. I recommend everyone watches a demo themselves, it’s super cool and so funny. Great for RPG’s with magic. You can paint and also draw with better precision than the other consoles.
8:36: OMG. You can plan real time strategy!!! Great for SB, ckan match planning. Sword and shield are showing in combo with great precision. This is fantastic compared to the others!
8:39: Showing off with a bow and arrow, shooting them in the crotches and headshots
8:40: Presentation concludes with great ovation.
8:40: Tretton returns, thanking Rick and Anton. It should be out Spring 2010.
8:41: LBP is now discussed. PSP coming and lots of DLC, such as Mr Incredible and Jack Sparrow from Disney. William Hoe and Greene come on to discuss next step in the Create genre, from LBP. This will be exclusive to PS3. It is ModNation Racers, where you make your own race game, with your own vehicles and characters, where you are the creator. They created a monkey guy for the demo. It has real time physics, and very interactive.
8:45: You can make your own track. You create as you “drive”, making it very easy to make. Looks interesting and quite fun. They created a track very quickly, and it looks great.
8:51: There part ends, and Tretton returns. Another exclusive is announced from the creators of Shadow of Colossus. It’s the 3rd installment of the saga called Last Guardian. Looks interesting, with a giant griffon-like creature. You play as a young boy, older than the original with this animal as a companion.
8:56: Polyphony Digital shows GT5, with great graphics! It features WRC, World Rally Championship, NASCAR, and a selection of LeMans cars and supercars on the Nurburgring, just like the Mercedes-Benz SLR. Detail is unbelievable, even on my computer.
8:59: God Of War 3 is mentioned! The final instalment of this story, with Kratos wanting revenge on Zeus and Olympus and gameplay is shown. Graphics are beautiful as Kratos craves his way through the enemy with a bow and his mighty power. He manipulates creatures holding onto them with his weapons causing him to control them with pain, which he inflicts. A giant molten creature is shown, which we presume will be an enemy. We see Kratos ripping the intestines of a foe out. Pure, beautiful, bloody carnage! Out 2010…
9:07: GoW3 Trailer ends, very enjoyable.
9:10: Tretton concludes by thanking all.

Well that’s 2 hours of action-pack thriller from E3, which I enjoyed.

Yea, each squad has 8 players, each designated an objective, aka take down AA guns, to allow UAV and Sir supports. There is the Squad Leader, a Second in command, and another leader, then 5 others are known as Soldiers
