So every player will have filled out forms for us to process and organise, thus allowing us to check on our list of active players and those who are out of season. Our application form can either be found on our website via PDF file, via SB recruitment or sent via e-mail with attachment files. All your details will be posted on our HQ forum so that all leaders and co-leaders know who has joined our team.
SB Application forms: Aka 7BAF These forms where created so that we can have your e-mail and online gaming nick name – that way we can all add each other to our network and later on use msn to work out tactics and talk as a team. It also gives us information about you, what your interests are and what other clans you have been in. Its has pretty much generic and general questions for a clan nothing too serious. Of course we ask for the truth, but if we find out that you didn’t tell us about being with a rival clan, it could cause future problems. So be honest when filling this in, the SB recruitment team will discuss the pro’s and cons of each player before their two month trail period is up. All being well and had you made the right connections in the clan – you’ll probably be requested to play in our official clan matches.
SB Rules of Conduct: Aka 7BRC Through the years we have learned from our mistakes, although we are far from perfect, we don’t really want repeat performances from any of our soldiers that can be considered negative for the clan’s greater need. When you agree to the rules of conduct it means that you understand them enough not to intentionally break them in anyway. Keeping our reputation and gaming credit in place is crucial for our online gaming campaigns. It is therefore important we all play by the same rules. If you do happen to break any rules you will be sent a letter stipulating the ones that have been recorded, although at first it may not be serious enough for it to go further, has this process takes time and energy – that’s why we have a team in SB that deals with these circumstances. The rules are here for everyone – we have all agreed to them and to uphold them.

https://7thbarrier.forumotion.com/7th-Barrier-Code-of-Conduct-h2.htmComplaints Procedure:Essentially if a problem occurs with another member of SB, you should first try to indentify the problem and maybe try to talk to the person in private? Or if you prefer; you speak to the person who recruited you. If you are still not happy you should consult the help of the Seventh Barriers Clan’s Council (found on our clan website), here a member of the council will take your case and try to resolve the matter. If this fails to resolve the matter, then you must contact one of the Co-leaders. If still you feel that the situation is un-resolved, you must therefore speak to the Leader. At all points along the way SB wishes to remain fair on all sides – following the advice of this procedure will help you getting your voice and feelings heard. If you wish to report a situation that needs to come to the attention of the clan, i.e: a person was acting against SB or their actions violated our rules – then PM (Private message) a co-leader, the case will be looked into and dealt with in the strictest of confidence.
This documentation is also found in the open / public section too, as we allow our doors open to any other Clan/s who have found any complaint to make or whom seek our advice - again SB will work closely with their leader to resolve the matter.

https://7thbarrier.forumotion.com/general-discussion-f11/sb-complaints-procedure-t1955.htm****************************************************** SB POLICIES – EXPLAINED II Warnings: If you have broken any of the SB rules, it is likely that one or more Co-leaders or Captains will make contact with you. In the easiest terms, we don’t really want a drama, nor a situation to re-occur, or enough that our other members are becoming upset or concerned. Depending on how serious the matter be, we may issue a suspension notice or give you 14 days to resolve the matter to clear your name or rectify the “problem”. On your first occasion, you will be verbally told, or written to – if it happens again it will be recorded in the SB Headquarters so that we can keep an eye out for anything that could escalate out of control. It is not often that we will ban a member out right, as we have a diplomatic system in place to ensure that the team can work it out together. Its important that our team continues to have fun and play as professionally as possible. No body likes warning signs.
MIA: Missing In Action. From time to time a players life will change and the commitment to the clan can become difficult to pursue. There are a whole endless list of possibilities, so we won’t mention them. Taking MIA leave, is when you become active, but not active enough to partake in official clan matches, or are unable to get online with your gaming and yet you still wish to remain part of the team & SB clan. Maintaining forum posting and keeping in touch with site admin / players will ensure you don’t get removed from the clan roster. We do have members who are MIA – but who one day will either return to us, or who will appear on request. Being MIA is only acceptable if you have talked to a co-leader / captain about your MIA situation, members who go AWOL – will be removed from SB.
SB Assessment forms: aka CSAF These forms are very rare these days, they can take over a month or so to complete and analyse. They are only done if there is a need to assess the game and the players who are taking on more advanced roles or strict objectives in clan matches. These CSA "forms" suit to identify who does what during a clan match, it also adds statistical data to gaming that the team can use. If you are sent a clan self assessment form, its wise to return it within the period set by the assessor. The decision to implement a “CSAF” assessment are made at co-leader level and filling in the details will be in accordance with your agreement with us, namely: 7BRC – SDGP5.
SB Oath: This special agreement hasn’t been used since 2004 – If your sent the info on becoming an SB Oath, it means you have become accepted as being a time served SB and part root to the SB clan. The form is a very complex agreement form – and you’ll be trained in the old SB code. During the days of Killzone, it was this that separated SB from the rest of the gaming crowd. The SB Oath is the highest level in SB and is made up of SB core members - the contents of its forum is confidential.
SBNL:This is SB's very own Dutch speaking team. Originally set up in 2006 and was part of SB’s – “SB Countries Concept”. One of SB’s original leaders was Dutch and in a way this is to honour that relationship between the two countries – as a mark of professionalism and respect. Everybody speaks English in this clan and it still is pretty much the international clan is once was. The Dutch team have their own forum and if required they can form their own team for the benefit of clan wars and practice sessions. Being able to communicate in your own language is something that SB considers an important factor – especially if communication is the make or breaking point of a clan match. New Dutch speaking recruits / players can join the team if they wish, although it is not essential. SBNL has its own Co-leader, Captain and Recruitment Team (of whom connect and communicate with SBHQ). SBNL has a special communications officer - who will help if any problems arise with new SBNL recruits. In general SB is pretty much pro-active for its teams within its structure and it does its best to support everyone. Any True SB player who is from another country has the right to this "SB countries" option.
SB Tactics Team:SBTT was created in 2007 during SB’s second play through of COD4. This is a team within SB and anyone can join. It has a set of different rules – but the underlying concept is that players must be active, online and offline and have a keen interest in working through together game tactics for SB to use in clan matches. The SBTT concept came from SBS – a now depleted covert unit of SB (2004-2007). All details and Intel in the SBTT forum are confidential and which is why only active and dedicated members have access there. Trial members unless stipulated by a clan leader cannot have entry to this forum.
SBHQ:This is where all SB leaders or requested members come together to discuss clan issues and move SB into the future – access and details are restricted & confidential.
SB Assessment Team:SB collects clan match details and information, until recently we had a very large database. The Assessment team work on information from CSAF's and other internally collected intel. The team works on documentation that produces statistics that the leaders can use for Clan wars. If you have been sent an assessment from the SBAT – then it is officially requested that you complete the forms and return it back to the team as soon as possible. Failure to do so – means you are violating one of our set base rules.
CWR’S:Clan Match Reports. These are used to track teams and clans and also allow SB to establish what was both a failure and success – allowing us to learn from our mistakes and rectify any tactics that where used by either us or the opposing team. CWR’s are to be filled in by either Captains or co-leaders although all members who took part in the match should contribute to collecting intel for our database.
**********************************************************************************SB's Personal Development Plan:SB has several layers or divisions within its structure and any player that wishes to specailize and who has the right potential is granted the chance to prove himself or herself. Although we do not admit relatively new recruits into these teams, we do allow access and a players personal development to grow has and when they settle in with the team. So Soldier, if you want to expand and climb up the ladder in SB here's the load down of options you got available to you...
* As to date an SB member can apply or be requested to join one or more of the following teams.
1) SBRT: SB's Reruitment Team
2) Communications Officer
3) SBAT: Assessment Team
4) SBTT: Tactical Team
5) Forum Moderator
6) Clans Counsel
7) SB Oaths
Truth be known, it is your own hardwork that puts you where you want to be in SB - all we do is give you the chance to do it..!
****************************************************** SB Freelancer:SB started this off in the days of Battlefield Mortal Combat for PS2. What we realised was that some clans decided to no longer to play on a game and yet some of its members wanted to continue and yet they didnt want to leave or jump ship and clan hopp. It was decided that we would open our doors to these loyal players and they could play in competitive clan matches alongside us, use our tag, get special access for game planning and yet still feel faithful to their original team. SB still holds dear to these values and still recruits players from semi-active clans. The Freelancer although does not need to go through our red tape - is automatically subject to our rules an regs. Once a player has made his request to join the team, SBRT will discuss and work out the rest - which means sending out PSN details so that he can start networking with the governing SB's online...
**********************************************************************************OUR SB HISTORY ! Of course this is very much a watered down version and one that doesn’t really give any names away but focus's on our success on us remaining faithful to this our clan – SB = the Seventh Barriers, the last line of defence…! Seventh Barrier clan was first dreamed up on a Killzone (PS2) website – a young Dutch website designer had created a site for Killzone fans – killzonegame.com, having lots of info and secrets about Killzone the game, it was a big hype. Has the game hit the ground 5th November 2004 the site had a mass of fans, all of whom who wished to not only type and talk on the forum but also to play together. The site had visitors and people from all over the world and it wasn’t long that SB had international status, with people from around the globe all playing under the same banner. Thus the clan began, it had an experienced clan leader from Holland who was participating in the running and organising of the clan but sadly due to unforeseen ‘rather’ sad circumstances; he was no longer able to carry the task further. It is at this point that we had a new leader instated . He took up position and the long awaited SB trials began again. The website and Killzone game was a success and has fast as it had all started SB where faced with yet another problem, the site went down, with no backup – but through the hard times we stood strong and a new site was developed, from scratch. Every year SB refreshed the old and we would get a new one, new looks, visulas etc etc. SB now has a "Commander in Chief" status as its leader position, and currently has shared responsiblity between two long term members / co-founders and "Oaths" of SB. For our success, its always been the interaction between online gaming and forum / posts. This communication has allowed SB to remain a well liked and respected veteran clan. It also meant players could easy talk to each other, leave messages and basically organise our team from certain rooms and posts – discussing game play, tactics and interests etc etc…. With the turn of Killzones end, Battlefield: Mortal Combat (PS2) became the new play ground for the clan, with a new acting leader online, clan support and clan videos, we where able to organise ourselves into an unstoppable force. With constant gaming together and great comms, we really showed the world that SB was a force to be reckoned with – to this day there are people who still remember us for our hard game play, passion, determination and good will, not to say the great fun and humour all our top players bring. Players come, players go, but once an SB always an SB, has Resistance and Rainbow Six proved – we saw the return of many of our soldiers. The PS3 not only brought the old boys back but also the new blood to SB online gaming scene. Our house is still standing, our lights are still on and shining - ohh; there’s furniture too. We have carved ourselves a very promising and respectful history – without the effort of our players and dedication second to none. We could have well fallen by the way side like many other clans – but we all hung in there together. We will not stop, Not give in and every year we bring forth the wisdom of the last, and we start as we mean to go On. We are SB, the legendary gaming clan of the 21st Century and the Playstation Network! With the new age of gaming just around the corner, players can now have the confidence and security that when they join us, they are joining a clan that has survived, remained intact, is experienced and one that has stood the test of time. And if you turn around now, you will still see us in the future, because we are always on the frontline! We never leave our soldiers on enemy territory – we bring all our team home. For we are the brotherhood of SB.
We are a very unique band of players!!! For more info on our history, just chat to our long standing established soldiers…
****************************************************** CONTACTS:This is a brief list of people in the clan who are higher ranked soldiers, you can talk to us and add us to your msn.
