Aliens Game

Anybody got this game, lol, is it like this online or offline - because its not that clear...?

sinlge player has 3 diffent campaign, one for each race.

Online, you choose which of the races you are, and it's basically a 3 way TDM. Does haven't a couple of different modes.

if u got and go online go with the predator (heard hes overpowerd)

A friend of mine went to the AvP press event a couple of weeks back, and he told me everything kinda balances out.
But then again, he's not really a FPS players.

the survival mode looks awesome, you and 3 other players in a huge arena, with 3 platforms, the last one is the highest so more easy to defend, looked very intense.

i bought it today at webshop, will be delivered in 2 days woehoe!

Well keep us updated - Im on the edge of my seat tbh - looks col and intense and the animations looked sweet and grafic.

I know they say that, "you and some of your frreinds can get online together" - but this does'nt mean that its got comms, or any sort of squad / team mechanics. I just hope it lives up to its potential and delivers but from whats I see it looks great and has that deep intense sensation of being hunted down.

I do know you can play the 3 species through the game - like whats KZ 1 did with its multipul character play through and like there is 7 modes for online or so. Maybe it could bring a bit of fresh air to gaming..?

Did anybody play online Condemned 2 - that was like a mass brawl with folk. It was fun but I dont remember being able to talk to anyone which made the team work side of it rather pointless - just like Fear 1 = again great game but no clan / team support or comms. These small details really suk if the developer misses them or forgets to remind you...

Predator ftw!

so, received it today. started as predator, very powerful, graphics are ok but could have been better.
atmosphere is good, sometimes u have to plan your kills, but overall straight up violence also does the trick. only at 12% now so sofar it's an ok game, but not a great game, killmoves are very nice, not played the mp yet.

What are you going to do..?

play and stay as one species until you finish it or run three at the same time?

Or what else..?

I suppose going as marine will keep to the story to some degree and then go watch an alien movie to set the mood... AvP was cool !

So how do they tell the story from the other two perspectives - ermm more the point how do the Aliens talk?

they dont there communication is based on a hive mind system (Queen). Puls i think they just give you objectives for what to do.

well, to start off, u can play all 3 campains simultanously, so after each savepoint u can go to menu and choose other campaign.

ok, i played bit as predator, objective based, go from A to B, kill everything and move on.

yesterday i started as marine, and that campaign is very intense, i will complete that one first before going further with predator/alien. but also objective based, little free roaming.

the alien campain starts as a captive, u must escape and hear the voice of the hive for objectives, but basically as alien it's kill eveything lol.

I rang Sony today and they want £130 to fix my Ps3. i told them no, so am going to get it repaired independently on Saturday, they repair it while you wait so hopefully I'll be online in the evening!

I also am going to be playing bioshock 2! hell yeah

Just saw some more of the vids on GT.

What a frantic and mad time it would be online - I wonder if there is comms..?

yep there are comms. not that good in demo when in game put they will prop be better in main game.
