Then and now

Thought I'd make a thread which would be a good read for us all

Basically fill it in with two answers, the first being when you first joined SB and the second being the present.

Age - 17 - 20
Profession - Was at high school - Since dropped out of university once and worked in telecomms which is awful. Reapplied for uni and hope to be away in September.
Gaming - Was pretty bad/average when I first joined. - I've stuck at it and been to two LANs now finnishing 5th and 7th, hope to be at my 3rd at the end of the month. Would really reccomend LAN to any of you guys, great pissup and for putting names to faces.
Social Life - When I joined I used to go out 3 times a week at least and was always partying to be honest. - Went through a massive gaming addiction period of about 12 months, past 6 months I've sorted myself out as I used to just be a bum and not socialise at all. Last month I've been going back to my old ways, can't wait for uni now either to be honest.


Not sure what else to add for now

Age - 17 - 22
Profession - carpenter - now training to be a web/graphic designer whilst working part time
gaming - was pretty amazing when i joined, am still amazing.
Social life - umm stayed the same really, go out maybe twice a week and of course drink way more than i should

Age --> 14 - 17
Profession --> High school - 6th Form
Gaming --> Alright when I joined - Much better now due to the incredible amount of xbox bumming I think
Social Life --> Boring living in a village with almost no outside links so didn't do much - Got a car, out and about most days and nights and if not then I'm busy with work :L

Age: 38
Profession: Furniture Designer Maker
Gaming: When I first joined all we did was do try outs, for over a month I had to put in to get the right to wear the SB Clan tag. Being in a clan was a big things for me then - being accepted as being good enough to play in a team of highly organised individuals - all playing together to win and beat the other team, in what ever crafty and sneaky bastard way we could..! 90% Communication and 10% Skill wins you wars, SB won through good comms and a great sense of humour - but the guys where either too trigger happy or sucked. lolz
Social life: Would loose my morning to playing online to Ino, the afternoon to playing with Apple and the rest of the day doing tactics and training with Berg and CF. Buying in 2 6packs was the order of the day. Social life flowed at the bars but having trouble with another language meant that gaming and talking online through a one-eared headset helped me get by. Traveling the world and seeing certain sights helped fill in a few social gaps though... Always had SB to come home to, they never wandered, never waited, nor did they fall...

For now I must build another home and life, of what path it will make - of time only knows.
